Beautiful, lovingly maintained, two and a half story, historical house.

Listed on the Spokane Register of Historical Places in 2011 and the Washington State Heritage Register and the National Register of Historical Places in 1979.  Historical name: William and Anna Kroll House.  Described as an example of the American Arts and Crafts period with an eclectic mixture of influences from Craftsman and Tudor Revival styles.  Prominent architectural features include the home’s 2.5 stories, widely overhanging eaves, deep bargeboards with pointed ends, gable peak pendant drops, exposed rafter ends, scroll-sawn brackets, gabled bays with overhanging levels, narrow-width horizontal clapboard siding, basalt rock foundation, multi-windows with small divided lights in the upper sash, and a partial-width front porch and balcony supported by massive exposed beams/joists and tapered porch posts. http://properties.historicspokane.org/property/?PropertyID=2039

Main and second floors, 5 bedrooms and 2 and a half baths.  Downstairs, 1 bedroom and a 3/4 bath.

MAIN FLOOR:  (all dimensions are approximate and are inside wall-to-wall resulting in smaller sizes than square feet calculated by county and appraisers. IRR means room is irregular)

Foyer: 15 by 16. Leading to stairs to the second floor. Outside front and side doors oak with stained fir finished on inside to match woodwork. Front and side doors have beveled, hand cut small glass windows, 18 on front door and 15 on side door.  Original but recently restored hardware.  Inlaid hardwood floors refinished 2010.  Built-in bench with storage. Original lights on stairs.
Living room: 15 by 25 IRR. Box beamed ceilings. Bay window-window seat with storage overlooking front yard. Detailed molding/wood trim, stained but never painted.  Inlaid hardwood floors refinished 2010.  Fireplace with gas furnace insert designed to work even if electricity is off (response to 1996 ice storm).
Dining room: 15 x 15 IRR. Built in cabinets have back windows that provide natural lighting through the cabinets. Plate rails. Box beams. Inlaid hardwood floors refinished 2010.
Family room: 14 x 15 IRR. Fireplace with custom fireplace glass and metal arch door and decorative gas logs, Built-in cabinets and fold-down desk. Spacious 1/2 bath off family room.
Pass through between Living and Family rooms: 10 x 4.  Two Built-in benches with storage.
Greeting Room/Office: 10 x 14. Tile floor. Beautiful wood work. Door similar to front door. Four large windows. Built-in bench with storage.
Breakfast nook: 8 x 12. Maple floors. Large family coat closet and security system.
Kitchen: 14.75 x 12.  Refinished maple floors. Newer top-of-the-line Thomasville cabinets and granite counter tops. Wet-bar sink in addition to regular double sink with garbage disposal. Jenn-Air gas stove top with extra grilling plates. Built in Maytag conventional/convection over. Kenmore dishwasher. New Samsung French Door Refrigerator with beverage drawer, water and ice dispenser.  Original Marshall and Wells servant call box,
beautiful but non-functioning, serves as door bell.  Call button in living room is connected to the call box, call buttons in other rooms are not connected. 
Butler’s pantry: 6.5 x 11. Three original tall cabinets with glass door. Additional new cabinets and broom closet. Granite counter top.
Covered side porch: 7 x 9 IRR.
Covered front porch: 9 x 23 IRR.
